GERTIE
We absolutely love Janet and the whole SF Walkies team! And most importantly, our dog Gertie absolutely loves them, too! We feel extremely confident and relaxed whenever we leave our dog in Janet's care, for anything from a one-off hiking adventure to a two-week dog-sitting session. SF Walkies takes a personal and compassionate approach to each and every dog in their care, tailors activities to what the individual dogs most enjoy, and provides them with endless enrichment options (from park adventures to birthday parties to puppy spa dates). Whenever we pick up Gertie after a stay with Janet, Gertie is always well-rested, well-exercised, pampered, and happy. The only downside is that our dog now loves Janet and her team more than she loves us, but that's a small price to pay for having found the best dog-whisperer in the city. SF Walkies is also great at communicating with us dog-parents, who might miss our dogs or be nervous to leave them for the first time: Janet always sends us adorable photo and video updates, and the entire SF Walkies crew is very responsive in case of schedule changes or in case Gertie needs extra food or meds. Janet now feels like part of our extended family, and we emphatically recommend SF Walkies to other pet parents in San Francisco!

My favorite thing about Janet and Todd is their obvious and total adoration for the dogs in their care. There’s no one that our dog is more excited to see! (Should we be jealous??) We love working with SF Walkies, too: they’re reliable, flexible, and fun.
OBI-WAN
SF Walkies have been the perfect dog everything for us. We met them at our local dogpark and they were always playing with their dogs and including the other dogs in the park. It was an easy ask for us to see if they could walk Obi-Wan when we started to go into work more regularly. We knew they would share their natural joy with our dog when we couldn't be there. Beyond walking Obi-Wan, they routinely help dog sit when we have to leave town. They send us pictures and videos regularly to see the fun adventures they take him on. We highly recommend their care!!!!

​We had the wonderful privilege of having our dog Itzi walked by SF Walkies for over 6 years, starting when she was just a puppy! We have moved away from San Francisco, but one of the things at the very top of our list of things we were sad to leave behind was Janet and her team at SF Walkies. They cared for Itzi as if she was their own, and Itzi absolutely returned the love. After a while, we did not even feel bad boarding her when we traveled, because it was basically like letting her have sleepovers with her best friend. SF Walkies is reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and will love your dogs as much as you do while taking amazing care of them. Truly could not recommend SF Walkies highly enough.
